Revenue Playbooks

Revenue Playbooks Built on
Evidence, Not Assertion.

Most playbooks tell you what to do. They rarely tell you why, under what conditions the guidance holds, or where the evidence runs out. RevXForge Playbooks are different in one specific way: every recommendation is grounded in research, every assumption is stated, and every limit on the evidence is acknowledged.

The suite covers the decisions that matter most to founders and revenue leaders building repeatable B2B revenue engines. These are not motivational frameworks. They are applied, step-by-step guides that start with your actual constraints.

Research documents with explicit assumptions and annotated evidence representing evidence-led methodology

Evidence before assertion is the operating standard — not a tagline.

Every section of every playbook is written to this standard.

Our Approach

What Makes an Evidence-Led Playbook Different From Generic Best Practice

Generic best-practice guides collapse conditions that matter. They aggregate across industries, deal sizes, GTM motions and company stages, then present the average as advice. The result is guidance that is directionally plausible but practically thin: it does not tell you whether it applies to your situation, what assumptions it rests on, or where comparable evidence ends and interpretation begins.

RevXForge Playbooks are built on a different standard. Each playbook states its assumptions explicitly before drawing on them. Where findings come from third-party research, they are attributed to their original sources. Where the evidence is directional rather than definitive, that distinction is made in the text, not buried in a footnote.

The Playbooks are most useful when the Revenue Engine Diagnostic has already identified which constraint is the primary bottleneck. A playbook applied to the wrong constraint will produce activity without progress.

Assumptions stated explicitly Before any recommendation is drawn on, its conditions are named.
Sources attributed, not restated Third-party findings are cited to their original sources, not presented as RevXForge conclusions.
Evidence limits acknowledged Where guidance is directional, the text says so. No overstatement of certainty.

The Playbook Suite

The RevXForge Playbook Suite

Five playbooks cover the core decisions in a B2B revenue engine. Each is designed to be applied directly by founders and revenue leaders — not summarised into a slide deck or handed to a consultant to interpret.

02

Pipeline Generation Playbook

Addresses the question of how to build a predictable, repeatable pipeline rather than relying on bursts of outbound activity or inbound luck. Symptoms such as "we need more leads" are frequently mistaken for root causes when the actual constraint is win rate, qualification rigour or sales capacity. This playbook separates pipeline volume from pipeline quality and structures generation activity around the economics of the revenue engine.

Built for revenue leaders, VP Sales and founders responsible for pipeline output.
03

Account Strategy Playbook

Addresses the problem of how to allocate selling effort across accounts in a way that reflects actual revenue potential rather than historical relationships or territory convention. Most account prioritisation is informal, inconsistent and disconnected from the ICP and pipeline economics. This playbook provides a structured approach to account tiering, coverage decisions and effort allocation.

Built for B2B sales leaders, revenue operations leaders and GTM leaders managing named account or territory models.
04

Revenue Engine Improvement Playbook

Addresses the question of how to improve a B2B revenue engine that is underperforming without defaulting immediately to headcount additions or channel changes. A conversion rate can look weak when the real constraint is capacity; a pipeline number can look healthy until win rate falls; a growth target can look ambitious when the underlying economics make it unrealistic. This playbook works through the structured identification and prioritisation of constraints across pipeline, conversion, capacity and economics.

Built for CROs, VP Revenue Operations and founders whose revenue engine is not performing at the level the inputs suggest it should.
05

New-Market GTM Playbook

Addresses the specific decision of how to enter a new market segment, buyer type or geography with a B2B offer. New-market GTM decisions are frequently made with less evidence than they require, compressing the ICP validation, channel selection and economics testing phases into a single launch motion. This playbook structures the entry decision, the evidence-gathering phase and the go or no-go criteria.

Built for founders and GTM leaders expanding beyond their current market without established pipeline data in the new segment.

Before Applying a Playbook, Identify the Right Constraint.

Applying the Pipeline Generation Playbook when your primary constraint is win rate will generate more pipeline that does not close. Applying the Account Strategy Playbook when the constraint is capacity will produce a prioritised account list that cannot be worked.

The Revenue Engine Diagnostic exists to answer the prior question: which part of your revenue engine is actually limiting growth? Run the diagnostic first. Then apply the playbook that addresses what the evidence points to.
